Armistice day is presently known as Veteran’s Day here in the United States. The day is typically celebrated on November 11th and is considered a federal and state holiday. In other parts of the world they call it Armistice or Remembrance day. If 11 is your lucky number, then this is your day. On November 11, 1918, World War 1 ended formally at the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month.
