What is ARLIS and how does it relate to the Trustee Council?
Alaska Resources Library and Information Services (ARLIS) is the home of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council’s comprehensive collection of EVOS materials, including final and annual project reports, annual work plans, publications, videos and photographs. The Council’s collection began in 1990 as the Oil Spill Public Information Center (OSPIC). In 1997, OSPIC joined with seven state and federal agency libraries focused on Alaska natural resources to form ARLIS. Supported by the Trustee Council and the seven other founding agencies, ARLIS is now located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus..
