What is Arizona Assurance?
Arizona Assurance is a new financial aid program at The University of Arizona that provides eligible incoming freshmen with individually tailored packages of financial resources and strategies that put graduating debt free within reach. The Arizona Assurance package of aid and Federal Work-Study, combined with the amount that the government determines each student’s family should pay, covers tuition, books and housing so that a student loan is not necessary to afford those expenses.
The Arizona Assurance Scholars program reflects the University of Arizona’s goal to make a superior college education accessible to as many Arizona students as possible. Arizona Assurance, a program for residents, gives students from families earning up to $42,400 a year the opportunity to graduate in four years without having to go into debt.
