The Canadian Space Agency may be able to say how much money Canada invests into the Herschel mission. Overall, the joint Herschel/Planck mission will cost the European Space Agency and all involved national space agencies about 1 billion Euro (or currently ~ 1.4 billion Canadian dollars).
