Conley: Digital PIC is ASF’s brand of digital dry film processing technology. Digital PIC is a revolutionary technology that allows exposed, but unprocessed film, to be developed without using the traditional chemical process. Digital PIC requires no water or plumbing and produces no waste or toxic effluents. Digital PIC processes a roll of 24-exposure 35mm film and produces prints as well as an Extended Range Digital Negative (XRDN) on a CD in approximately seven minutes. Images obtained from the XRDN are of similar quality as those obtained from chemical film negatives.
