What is APC Networks?
APC stands for Association for Progressive Communications, an international Network of Computer Communication Hosts for the people working for NGO’s and civil activities. APC Networks, having begun with 5 member networks in 1990, have 25 member nodes(*) at present, accessed from 133 countries. Now it is still growing and will go further. APC Networks have cooperative relationships with over 50 “Partner Nodes” mainly located in Asia, Pacific and Africa regions. JCA-NET is also a Partner Node for APC Networks. (*)Node: a crossed and tied up strings to keep it as part of the net. Node is not a center but a gateway to other node; all the nodes are in equal relationship each other.
