What is APA doing to communicate the results and impact of the 2008 referendum?
A. APA issued a news release about the results, which was widely reported by news media, including The New York Times, the Associated Press and USA Today, among others. An article will also run in an upcoming issue the Monitor on Psychology, which goes to all APA members. In early October, APA sent letters on the measure to President Bush, Attorney General Michael Mukasey, CIA Director Michael Hayden and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, as well as to the leaders of all relevant congressional committees.
