What is antioxidant water?
In addition to alkaline ionized minerals, the drinking water has anti-oxidant properties. Here’s how it works: when water rusts iron it steals an electron. An oxidant or free radical in the body does the same thing: it steals an electron. A free radical is scientifically known as an electron thief! The textbook definition of an anti-oxidant is an electron-donor. In other words, an oxidant steals an electron and an anti-oxidant replaces the stolen electron. Alkaline ionized water has a typical negative ion charge between -125 mV to -250mV. That means the water is electron-rich and has measurable antioxidant properties. Health-giving ionized water is alkalinizing and it serves as an anti-oxidant.
