What is Angling Against Cancer?
Angling Against Cancer, a non-profit organization, was established in 1999 as a vision to join the sport of bass fishing and the fight against cancer by professional angler Terry Segraves. At fishing tournaments around the country Terry began promoting the event and asking his professional bass fishing buddies if they would like to help out in the cause. Their response has been overwhelming. Bass fishing legends, current and future champions have all rallied to make this more than just another event, it is a fight against cancer. Terry and friends recognized that this dreadful disease has touched everyone around them and they wanted to do their part to stop the progression.
