I’m not familiar with “The Crucifixion” by Mantegna, but more than once I have viewed “The Crucifixion” by Jan Styka. If you ever get a chance to see it, do so. The theater in which it is displayed was built for that one painting. It is 195 feet long by 45 feet high, and every inch contributes to the overall effect. No reproduction can show the details involved, so I won’t link you to one.
