Cradle cap is basically a formation of thick, waxy, yellowy crusts on the scalp. It can also occur on the eyebrows and behind the ears of your baby. Cradle Cap is caused by too much oily secretion being made by the sebaceous (oil) glands. It looks itchy but it’s not and can be more visually concerning to the mother than the child itself.
