I think what you are talking about is an external card reader, that also acts as a USB Hub? This device plugs into one of your USB ports on your computer, and will be seen by the computer as additional drives. Use Explorer in Window, or click on My Computer and navigate to those ‘new drive letters’ from there!… Not totally sure about using on a Mac but process should be something similar! The card reader will accept memory cards (as used in Digital Camera) and can be used to easily transfer pics you have taken onto the PC!…. Just be careful about inserting the card the correct way! You can also use these card as digital storage by writing to them (ie copy files on to them) to transfer to another computer or device! By acting as a Hub, this device also enables you to plug in several other USB devices to the one port…. these could be memory sticks, a mouse, Web Camera, etc!
