What is and alternative other than surgery to remove keloid?

Mederma, bio-oil and Vitamin E capsules all help with keloids. I had a large keloid after some surgery and I used Vitamin E capsules (poke a hole in the end of one capsule, squeeze a small amount on your finger and rub it over the scar). I did this daily for almost 6 months and was the cheapest method I could find. The keloid is gone, the scar is faded and barely visible. Whichever method you choose, it takes a long time to see results. If you want fast results, a laser clinic can remove some keloids but there is always the risk that more damage to the skin will occur with the laser treatment and the keloid will come back and that is why I chose the Vitamin E capsules.
