Wallcovering is part of the trade. There are many different types of embossed wallpapers and wallcoverings that are similar to Anaglypta and Lincrusta. I have Anaglypta in my home that is probably 80 years old. The installation techniques for Anaglypta are different than installing (hanging) wallpaper. I think what happened in the above post where a problem arose, was that the wallcovering material was not Anaglpta but another type of embossed wallcovering.
