If you have bought a ticket on an Air New Zealand flight using cash, you can use your Airpoints Dollars to purchase an upgrade to the next class of travel. An Upgrade can only be used on Air New Zealand operated international flights to upgrade to one cabin class above that stated on your ticket. An Upgrade cannot be used for domestic flights, or flights purchased with Airpoints Dollars, or in conjunction with Smart Saver fares (those fares booked in E, L, G, K, or S classes for travel between New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands). To request an upgrade, please contact your nearest Airpoints Service Centre.
