What is an UNSPSC code and how are they obtained?
The United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) is an open, global standard for classification of products and services. Suppliers can search www.unspsc.org/* to locate commodity codes that can be used by your suppliers. Please note that it is very important that they choose the correct code for your goods and services. The Zanzibar system uses this code to allow buyers to search for goods, if they pick the wrong code, you may not find your suppliers services.
