What Is an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament?
“Once you get a little bit more involved in ultimate frisbee, you might want to compete in different tournaments. Generally speaking, there are sectionals, regionals, nationals and worlds. The sectionals usually involve the teams in your immediate vicinity around your city, the regionals may involve a little bit further out of your state, the nationals will involve all the different areas of the United States competing, and then the winner of the national tournaments or the top maybe two or three teams will go to the world tournaments to compete against the different other top teams in the world. In addition to those kind of tournaments, there’s hundreds and hundreds of different smaller, I would say just fun tournaments throughout the country and those can take place any time of the year in any state.
