What is an SRP?

SRP stands for School Review Panel. If a student’s behavior causes him/her to be considered for serious discipline or expulsion from school an SRP is necessary. An SRP consists of the student, parent/guardian, a lead-administrator, the vice-principal in charge of discipline and the counselor. The case will be discussed with both parties being given a chance to explain the situation from their point of view. The lead-administrator will then make a recommendation to the principal whether to expel or not.
