What is an Overdraft License?
For your convenience, certain Programs include an optional Overdraft Reserve. Overdraft allows you to generate additional licenses in excess of the quantity of licenses actually purchased, enabling you to exceed your purchased quantity of licenses in a peak usage period without impacting your operation. Specifying an Overdraft License Quantity at this time simply reserves you the capability of utilizing your Overdraft Privilege – you are not liable to order additional licenses unless you actually deploy your Overdraft license reserve. Once Overdraft Licenses are deployed however, you must place a non-cancelable, non-refundable Order with Sybase, Inc., a Sybase subsidiary or authorized reseller within 60 Days for all Overdraft licenses deployed in order to remain in compliance with your License Agreement.
