What is an Outsourcing document?
The document consists of three sections: Specification Background Testing The document is written by a fourth year M.Eng student and is part of the Degree Programme. The aim of the report is to provide sufficient information to a third party in order that they would be able to complete the project for the student. The specification tells the reader exactly what they want the project to deliver – including all practical and written work. The background provides a concise introduction to the subject area of the project. It is expected to review the main literature in the area, summarise the state of the art and give references. The testing section indicates how they are going to test whether or not the project has met the specification.
