What is an Originating Author and who can be one?
Originating Authors are Editors who create a new page or take an existing page with very little information on it and transform it into an Article of very high quality. If you are accepted as an Originating Author for an Article, it will be permanently recorded on the Originating Authors page with a link to the Article and you will get a permanent designation on your Medpedia profile along with a link. This recognition provides an incentive for you to continue to follow and improve a page over time as well as a way to set the record straight on a medical topic in your area of expertise, and to be recognized for significant original and important contributions to Medpedia.
