What is an Orientation Operations Assistant (OOA)?
An OOA is a student member of the Orientation staff that is committed to serving first-year and transfer students through operational and logistical means. As an OOA, you will have the opportunity to work hard throughout the summer as well as assist the Administrative and Operations Specialist and other professional staff with administrative duties. You will also have an opportunity to learn valuable skills in customer service, management of databases, program logistics, and problem solving while connecting with other individuals in the office. Applicants of all backgrounds, majors, involvements, interests and previous leadership experiences are encouraged to apply; however, this experience specifically offers valuable experience for students interested in a variety of careers including student affairs, event planning, customer service, and hospitality.
