What is an Optional Authentication Code?
An optional authentication code is included with the serial number on the insert found in boxed product. If you purchase a downloadable application, you will not need or receive an optional authentication code. Entering this code allows you to use the software for a period of time without needing to register it. You can always choose to register your application right away, and then you will not need to enter the optional authentication code at all.
