What is an onward distribution channel?
Commonly referred to as third-party distribution channels, onward distribution channels are intermediaries that facilitate a hotel’s ability to sell itself to the traveling consumer. These channels encompass any source through which travel accommodations can be purchased, either online or offline, in which the provider of such accommodations has entered into a relationship with the seller to provide the accommodations at a previously determined rate, and under previously determined restrictions.
