What is an OMSE “hybrid” course offering?
Hybrid course offerings integrate face-to-face and online learning models. The classroom lectures are recorded and digitally streamed for broadcast by the next morning after class. Students can elect to attend the face-to-face lectures, take the course completely online while utilizing the the audio-video stream (available approx. 24 hours after night of class), or combine both formats thoughout the term. Otherwise, the weekly pacing of courses are the same as the online model, namely, readings, assignments and discussions are posted online.
