An official transcript may be needed for verification for prospective employers or for other educational institutions to which you are applying.

An official transcript is the record of grades and degree(s) earned, if any, sent directly to Stevens from the Registrar of the institution(s) you have attended. The Registrar may send the transcripts directly to you in sealed envelopes. Under no conditions may these be opened by you and submitted to Graduate Admissions and still be considered official. In some cases, the Registrar of the college may mark official transcripts sent to students as “Issued to Student”, in which case they will be considered unofficial. In the case of some International Students, transcripts would consist of attested grade sheets and diploma.

An official transcript is one that is issued from the Office of the Registrar, contains an official seal or signature of the registrar, a watermark, and is sent to PharmCAS directly from the Registrar in a sealed envelope. Transcripts issued to you, the student, are not accepted. To make sure your official transcript is handled properly by PharmCAS, you should print the PharmCAS official transcript request form from the Colleges Attended section of your application and give that to your Registrar’s Office to be included with your transcript when it is mailed to PharmCAS. At the same time, you should request an official student copy for yourself to help you complete the online application. Remember, PharmCAS must receive an official transcript from every accredited institution you attended.
