What is an official showcase?
Each year the Folk Alliance selects artists to showcase during the International Folk Alliance Conference. Last year we selected 200 artists from all over the world. These artists will have a 30-45 minute showcase slot where industry representatives may observe. At last year’s conference, approximately 2000 people attended, and about 40% of those attendees were industry professionals (non-artists).
