For the purposes of OATS reporting, a business day begins after the close of The Nasdaq Stock Market on one market day and ends at the close of The Nasdaq Stock Market on the next market day. For example, Wednesday’s OATS Business Day begins at 4:00:01 p.m., Eastern Time (ET) on Tuesday and ends at 4:00:00 p.m., ET on Wednesday. Any events occurring during this time period must be reported to OATS by 5:00:00 a.m., ET on Thursday. Monday’s business day begins 4:00:01 p.m., ET on Friday and ends at 4:00:00 p.m.ET on Monday. If Monday is a holiday, orders received after 4:00:00 p.m., ET on Friday must be reported to OATS by 5:00:00 a.m., ET on Wednesday.
