What is an MD5 sum?
– You may have noticed that most of the episodes have a text file associated with them, with an MD5 sum. An MD5 sum is a way of making sure that the file you downloaded is exactly (to a very high degree of certainty) the same as the source file. This is done to keep the integrety of the files the same, and prevent errors from occuring as files get transfered many times. You need software to calculate the MD5 sum of a file, which you can easily find by a simple Google search (there is a simple MD5 sum calculator in the Downloads section of this site). If the MD5 sum of the file you have does not match the MD5 in the associated text file, delete the file you have and re-download the episode.
