WHAT IS AN ISP AND HOW DO I FIND A GOOD ONE?
An ISP, Internet Service Provider, is the company that answers the telephone when you dial a “dial up” internet connection. If you use AOL, it is AOL. If you use high speed access, it is probably your cable, DSL, satellite provider or their agent. An ISP is your entrance to the internet. According to FindAnISP.com, there are over 400 ISPs that offer dial up service to the Cleveland area, several for about $10/month. If you require nationwide or international access while traveling, be sure to look for that capability in the ISP you choose. While we don’t endorse or provide recommendations, we would be happy to provide a short list. Give us a call or email.
