An isolation switch is a separate switch installed along with your remote control. Note this is not a wall controller, this switch looks like a light switch and will only be used to supply power to your fan. If you are intending to install your fan onto a remote control then Hunter Pacific recommends that you have an isolation switch installed along with your remote control unit. It is important to have a separate isolation switch incase your remote control fails to function properly.
