Ionic hairdryers have become all the rage in the styling industry, with companies from Revlon to CHI selling millions each year. Manufacturers claim that these are far superior to traditional hairdryers, and that they keep hair healthier. Yet, many people that buy the dryers simply succumb to fancy marketing, and really do not know exactly why ionic hairdryers are better for their hair. Although many say the driers do a better job, there is still speculation as to whether they actually live up to the companies’ claims.
