What is an invitation email?
An invitation email is the first email you send to the individuals that matched against your offline customer file. Because these individuals have not yet given you permission to email them on a continuing basis, it is a good idea to invite them to do so. . The overall objective of the invitation email should be to have the recipient agree to continue to receive your email communications. We recommend that you list the benefits of your email communications and perhaps include an incentive. Also, this invitation email should explicitly detail who the company sending the email is and what the relationship is with the recipient.
