What is an International Proof (I/P) Edition?
Canvas is identical to the Standard Numbered (including hand highlighting) and is most comparable to a Publisher Proof in the fact that it is more limited than the S/N, A/P, and G/P. The International Proof has a gold foil stamp on the bottom corner of the painting which depicts Thomas Kinkade’s logo. Keep in mind, the foil stamp is the same on all International Proofs unlike the Gallery Proof where the foil stamp is different. The price of the International Proof is the same as the Publisher Proof. To keep the integrity and limitation of the International Proof established, an International Proof is only sold from International Galleries and U.S. Galleries are forbidden to sell International Proofs which is why you do not see the International Proof as a choice of purchase on our website.
