What is an interesting topic for a short persuasive speech?
Katyismach5’s gave a lot of good ideas, Im only writing this to give her kudos and say this: in regards to minimum wage, I have never supported raising the minimum wage. Everytime minimum wage is increased it causes every produced product to increase in cost (inflation) and Unions to go crying to corporate America about how they now need an increased-increased wage…making more, you guessed it inflation. However as the Federal Reserve continues it’s practice of pumping apx 20 billion dollars a week into Wall Street, and expands this practice by this week adding ‘brokers’ to the list of entities they will discount-loan to, this figure will be 40 to 60 billion a week by the end of this month. This alone will cause inflation (or depression) like never seen before. So with that in mind I say we need to increase the minimum wage…just to be safe it should match the near-future American economy, and be adjusted to $200.00 per hour.
