WHAT IS AN INCLUSION SPECIALIST?
Lackland City Elementary provides an inclusion setting for students with special needs. Students who have special needs are fully mainstreamed with their peers and given the opportunity to receive all academics in their general education classroom. As an Inclusion Specialist, I go into their homeroom to assist teachers and students with their work to ensure their success in all areas. My inclusion assignment is 5th grade. I am fortunate to work with Mrs. Braswell’s and Ms. DeLeon’s wonderful and awesome classes.
