What is an “Important Paper” envelope and what is it used for?
Your child has been given a laminated brown envelope labeled “Important Papers” to help develop good habits about bringing things to and from school. This envelope will be used to send home important information to you from school. Please use it to send back any parent/teacher communication to his/her teacher. Please be sure this envelope is returned each day! Your child will also have a homework folder labeled “HOMEWORK” that will come home on Monday and should be returned with completed homework on Friday. If your child completes and returns his/her work on Friday, a sticker will be placed on the Homework folder. We would like for each child to have a regular size backpack that will be used for transporting folders and miscellaneous items to and from school. Children should also bring this to school every day.
