What is an ICF Credentialed Coach?
The ICF is renowned for its globally recognized credentialing program. The ICF offers three credentials (ACC, PCC and MCC). All ICF Credentials require coaches to have coached with a mentor coach for at least ten hours. In addition all ICF Credentialed coaches have had their coaching examined by qualified coaches and have obtained a minimum of two reference letters from ICF coaches at the PCC or MCC level. All Credentialed coaches have also completed an oral exam as a demonstration of their competence. Each Credential must be renewed every three years and requires a minimum of 40 Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEU). Associate Certified Coach (ACC) The ICF Associate Certified Coach credential is for the practiced coach.
