What is an ICC profile and do I need one?
ICC (International Color Consortium) profiles represent the color space of a specific substrate, ink, printer, monitor or capture device. Colour profiles simply let one piece of hardware or software know how another device or image has created its colours and how they should be interpreted or reproduced. I-Sub creates ICC profiles that encompass the different combinations of printers, print resolutions, sublimation inks, paper and substrates. You don’t have to have an ICC profile, but it will help you to achieve more accurate colour, if you do use one and reduce your colour matching time.
