The U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Census utilizes this code to calculate U.S. trade statistics; U.S. Customs utilizes this code to assess duties and tariffs. Cisco Systems, Inc. will use the HTS number for all export documents unless otherwise directed by ECRA or Global Customs.
