What is an Honorary Member?
An Honorary Member is elected to membership by the AAI Council in special recognition of exceptional achievements in the field of immunology. Honorary members should reside outside of the U.S. and are not usually current AAI members. Honorary members enjoy the privilege of active membership without the payment of dues. A subscription to The JI may be purchased, as well as other optional journals, at the member rate. 9. How do I renew my AAI membership for the current year? If you are currently an AAI Regular or Trainee member and would like to renew your membership for the current year, please contact the AAI Membership Department to obtain a membership renewal form. The form will be e-mailed to you. Once you have completed it, you can fax or e-mail it (as a PDF) back to the AAI Membership Department for processing. Acceptable methods of payment include check (institutional or personal), VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.
