What is an excused absence?
An excused absence will not count towards your loss of professional behavior points. An absence may only be excused by the FMIR , at her/his sole discretion. If you are in the hospital or very sick and have a doctor’s note, you will probably get an excused absence. The FMIR will be very stingy in awarding excused absences. You are expected to attend all classes while in Antwerp. The following are NOT examples of excused absences.
