one example of necrosis is the blackening of the skin on or around the bite site of locsosiles reclusa(brown recluse spider). the area will become extremely tender and most if not all of the skin and tissue will die, hense the term necrosis. if not treated, the site will almost always increase in size in relation to the amount of venom, and the particular area where the bite occured.
