What is an Evidence Discovery Pack (EDP)?
An Evidence Discovery Pack is a highly customized software application that enables a user to extract data from a specific computer. The BitFlare CD uses EDPs to recover visible, hidden, obscure, and previously deleted data for preservation and further examination. EDPs are unique and include security precautions to help verify that the data came from the PC in question and that the data were not modified once collected. Such precautions help to increase admissibility of the data as evidence in a court of law. EDPs can be created, purchased, and downloaded from the BitFlare Web site at www.bitflare.com/EDP.
