An ePrint archive allows an author to make their ePrints freely available to the world wide scholarly and scientific community on a much larger scale than is possible with paper. There are a number of national and international subject based ePrint Archives in existence, and many institutions are now setting up Institutional ePrint Archives, such as the University’s Research Repository, for making the institution’s scholarly output more freely available.
