What is an Environmental Health Fact File?
The Environmental Health Fact Files: LEAD and ASTHMA are a series of exciting new curricular materials designed to integrate environmental health across the middle school curriculum. Each EH FACT FILE focuses on an environmental health topic (lead and asthma) of importance to middle school students and their teachers. Who can use the Fact Files? Each EH Fact File provides subject area specific lesson plans to teachers of social studies, science, language arts, math, and health and fitness. At least two lessons are provided for each subject. Resource materials are also included to help school librarians who are facilitating student research projects. The EH Fact Files are also valuable resources for school nurses, out of school programs, and parents. How do I teach a Fact File?
