What is an Enterprise Scheduling and Ambulatory EMR System?
The Enterprise Scheduling system is an electronic scheduling application that provides patients or referring providers with the ability to conveniently book single or multiple appointments for ambulatory care services with other physicians and clinicians in the Capital Health region participating in the system. These bookings will take into consideration patient preference for site and location of service, availability of specialized equipment, services and care providers. The Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is a comprehensive, shared ambulatory care patient-centred record, completed in the clinic or office, that allows clinicians and physicians to have access, as appropriate, to available patient history, clinical decision support tools, electronic charting tools, rules and alerts, and billing information.
