What is an Employment Insurance (EI) Access Code and why am I being asked to provide one?
The Employment Insurance (EI) Access Code is a four-digit code mailed to you shortly after you apply for EI benefits and can be found at the bottom of your Benefit Statement in the shaded area. In order to access the online service you have selected, you must provide your four-digit EI Access Code. It is an additional piece of information that we ask for to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information.
