The formulation and manufacture of effervescent tablets is a sophisticated process that is well-understood from decades of research and practice. One of the most important guidelines in effervescent formulation and production is to achieve a product that is stable from the effects of humidity that may cause it to begin reacting prior to use by the consumer. In order to achieve this, manufacture takes place in low humidity environments and ingredients used are monitored to avoid using products that can release humidity over time.
