An autoresponder will automatically reply to any e-mail sent to a particular address. For example, you may have an autoresponder for the address of info@yourname.com. Any email sent to this address will automatically be replied to by a robot (program). The robot will send back a preset message (that you set up and edit at any time). This is useful for creating “request more information” e-mail addresses.
